The software chosen to operate blog pages hosted on this webserver is Apache Roller.  As suggested by the name, Roller is one of the many quality, open source projects hosted by Apache.  Roller supports multiple domain URLs, which makes it perfect for webservers such as mine that host many domains/websites.  It makes it possible to implement domains of the form http://blog.your-domain.com, rather than http://blogs.optomus.com/your-name.  This gives a more professional look.
